Not only has this but Mate7 come with 13MP camera, sleek look and long lasting battery which makes it a good deal to go with.

Their looks include rounded sides and metal finished smart body which is quite attractive and eye-catchy. It has LED flash and camera at its back and bottom left is teamed with small loudspeaker port. On its right side rest the volume rocker and power button which is quite handheld.

The smartphone comes with 6” display screen with 1080x1920pixels resolution. There isn’t any problem related to outdoor display of the phone, being 480nits max brightness it provides you clear vision even in daylight. Its color specs are also quite cool and up to the mark. Not something out of the box, but quite good.

The configuration of the smartphone is very fine and impressive which overcomes the Huawei other handsets. It consists of Android 4.4.2 KitKat coupled with Hisilicon Kirin 925 chipset, which is an octa-core processor engraves maximum performance.

There are two options related to memory- the one is 32GB inbuilt memory with 3GB RAM and another one is 16GB with 2GB RAM which can be extended via microSD slots.

Mate7 offers 13MP camera 28mm wide lens and 1/3.06” Sony sensor it completes the camera configuration. Though the camera provides you with a clear and brilliant images but it lacks manual settings like white balance, ISO, normal adjustments, etc which is a drawback but don’t be disappointed as you have beauty shots, HDR, panoramas and many more which somehow covers the lacks of the smartphone.

It has 5MP front facing camera which is opt for selfie but the flash of the phone is not too convincing as it can be more powerful.

Battery is 4100mAh whose life is 7 hrs and 3 minutes which is good and doesn’t need to be frequently charged.

It’s fingerprint scanner something out of the box and stands out from other smartphones.  The touch ability of the phone is quite sensitive and you get that speed which you all want when you are using touch screen mobiles.

It supports Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, GPS and USB connectivity. It has Cat 6 LTE on FDD bands which provide you speed up to 300MBps which made my net surfing experience more than average.

Wrap up

Huawei Ascend Mate7 is a premium smartphone with all related features. What I personally felt was that camera manual setting additions would have made it better but other options were satisfactory.

According to its cost smartphone is quite apt and includes all such minute features which you want but if you are thinking to have a brand then yes you can think twice upon it.
