Flipkart was the first e-Commerce website in India. They started out with Books and then expanded to Electronics and now even Fashion . The company has been doing really well for a long time that even international giants like Amazon stepped into the Indian market to fight for a place on top. The battle did not get any easy for Flipkart with Amazon establishing itself very well in India and also the eBay supported SnapDeal pulling it apart. FlipKart recently acquired Myntra – the best site for Online Clothing in India. Though Myntra still continues to operate as an individual entity – Flipkart wanted to make sure it does not lag when it comes to fashion. Today we have a surprise announcement from Flipkart – not an acquisition , but a new device – You heard it right. In the past Flipkart has partnered with Moto and released their phones exclusively through their site but now it seems Flipkart is going to try its luck in Electronics with its own Tablet – DigiFlip Pro XT.
