Samsung Galaxy Alpha Review

Let’s have a look what this smartphone offers-

Design

Samsung as its rest of the smartphone has a rectangular designed phone with little curved edges. The back of the phone is made of high quality material which is quite better than plastic. Compared to other Samsung Smartphones Alpha is slim.

The weight of the cell is 115gms if the body has been made of metal then its weight would have been increased which is not my cup of tea so overall I would say that Smartphone’s design is in shape. On its right rest the volume rocker and the back of the phone is removable. The phone lacked in microSD slot and it didn’t have any so unfortunately you only have 32GB storage to store your stuffs.

Display

With 4.7” screen and a resolution of 1280x720p which is quite low in comparison to other phones in the same range, even from S5. Being too costly the phone does not satisfy on this part, it could have been better if the resolution would have enhanced because many other brands are offering full HD screens in similar range. But the good thing about the phone is that its screen is bright and vibrant due to which any picture or video gives you a fine experience during watch.

Performance

Powered with 2.5GHz quad-core processor and octa-core chipset your scrolling experience will be great. I felt it quite easy to swipe which was quite flawless. It has same Android KitKat 4.4 software like S5. Alpha offers you with 2GB RAM which could have been made little better.

The phone comes with 12MP rear camera teamed with 2.1MP front camera which is quite less configured if we talk about Selfies but the good thing is its better than Samsung Galaxy S5. It contains HDR, Panorama and beauty face kind of features and also manual setting features are there which makes phone adjusting.

Connectivity and battery life

With 1860mAh battery the smartphone provides you with 11hrs talk time which doesn’t need to be frequently charged even when brightness is increased.

Connectivity includes Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, EDGE, GPRS GPS, NFC and USB ports. Hence it gives you all necessary connectivity options.

Wrap up

Samsung Galaxy Alpha is quite a good deal. Though people those who love keeping lots and lots of video and songs would be missing memory expanding options but 32GB is quite fruitful if managed accordingly. The looks of the phone was the highlight especially the metal rim around looked fab and camera is also a reason to go with the phone, overall a good phone to hangout with. Price of the phone not yet revealed but yes it will be in the same range of Samsung Galaxy.
